We read from our synaxarion everyday after prayers to start our homeschool day and we love it so much! Thank you Potamitis Press for all the beautiful books you’re publishing!
I love how this volume includes Western Saints more familiar to western ears, like St. Patrick (all the synaxarions do), and we always love the illustrations. My husband complained once that each saint has two pages, and you have to flip the page to get to the second page--but I pointed out that then the girls get very excited when they see the illustrations for tomorrow's saints.
Very well done, and a perfect replacement for trying to read the full Prologue or Synaxarion with them. Now we do that after bedtime, and can focus on what we hear.
