March 5 (18 for the Serbs!)
A Serbian Saint? Yes, Serbian indeed, yet, he spent much of his life in North America and slept in the Lord in Pennsylvania.
He lived his life persecuted by all types of socialists, who even had him put in a concentration camp; the US Army freed him, and he fled ultimately to the US, where he spent his last years.
At Saint Tikhon's Monastery in Pennsylvania, you can visit the room where he spent his final moments in prayer; we have, it's worth the visit!
Saint Nikolai Velimirovich, intercede with Christ for our freedom!
Together with each Paterikon book, feel free to choose a "Paterikon Purse" of your liking and either a fasting or non-fasting treat.
