Saint David of Euboia is the third saint featured in the Paterikon series that is from the third-largest Greek island, the island of Euboia.
Saint David was a refugee, who suffered persecution, imprisonment, and torture for not renouncing his faith in the true Triune God.

Saint Iakovos Tsalikis (95) is one of the modern-day Greek Elders. He was the abbot of a full-of-life monastery on the island of Euboia, the same monastery where Saint David of Euboia (Paterikon #102) spent the last part of his life. November 27.
