About our ministry

Potamitis Publishing—Orthodox Children's Books is the first Orthodox Christian publishing ministry to exclusively publish books for Orthodox Christian children. Since December 17, 2007, our family has published dogmatically correct, stunningly beautiful, and intriguing books, posters, and stickers for Orthodox Children around the blessed Globe!

As of October 2025, Potamitis Publishing – Orthodox Children's Books has published more than 222 new books in English; additionally, we have translated and published more than 222 of them in Greek. More than seventy have been translated and published in Romanian, dozens more in Russian, and fourteen other languages!

Egle-Ekaterine Potamitis designed every image, map, and drawing in our books by hand.

We have never printed in communist China and, God willing, never will!

We print in Saint Demetrios's hometown, Thessaloniki, Greece; Lincoln, Nebraska, USA; and Sesklo, the oldest settlement in Europe.

Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with unbroken back and in its original packaging to be eligible for a return. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at dionysios@potamitis.us. We’ll send you a return shipping label when your return is accepted. We cannot receive items sent back to us without first requesting a return.

You can always contact us for any return questions at dionysios@potamitis.us.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong book so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and we will let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded through your original payment method. Please, keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and show the refund.
